About

Scott Evans

Scott Evans has been playing guitar since 1986 and playing gigs for over 25 years. His lifelong love of music turned toward guitar when he was introduced to Stevie Ray Vaughan's uniquely take-no-prisoners style. From SRV through the Kings (BB, Freddie, and Albert), his style is based on the passion found in the Blues. Over the years he's been influenced by Alt Country, Funk, Jam bands, and good ole' Rock and Roll. Scott led the band Brotherhood in the ‘90s, was a founding member of The Growlers (now The Rough Suspects), played in Twilight Idols, founded Mr. So and So with Albany area Blues Hall-of-Fame harmonica player Ted Hennessey, and is the founding member of his current band, Uncle Jimmy.
